I can't believe I'm officially moving in 3 weeks! I also can't believe the amount of stuff that I've accumulated over the years! Packing is not fun. But, every time that I get down over all the work, I just take a look at the view from my new house! 250 feet from the ocean!!! This is the view from my balcony.

That fixes everything. Back to work now.
Love,

Now, a few months ago, I practiced the manifestation techniques from "The Secret", also known as The Laws of Attraction. I knew that I needed a studio space as large as the entire downstairs of my home currently. I wanted it to be open with hardwood floors and huge windows. I wanted it on the main street of the historic district of Fernandina. Not only did that dream come true this past week, but everything else that I had always desired in a studio space was also there! It is a dream come true. Here are some pictures of it.

The inside as you walk up the stairs. One hundred year old heart of pine floors!!!

This is a dining room/office that has been built out.
The kitchen, with dishwasher. I see wine tasting art shows in the near future!
And, even though it doesn't look like much now, this is my courtyard garden looking out over my balcony in the back. It's going to be magical!

The best part of all is my landlord. Now, I know folks don't usually rave about landlords. But this one is different. It turns out that she also used the techniques from "The Secret" to find the perfect tenant. She's also an artist, who was originally from Atlanta and moved to Fernandina with her husband and two children. Her artwork is incredible. I am in awe of it. But, best of all, she is a kindred spirit who I have become fast friends with. Check her work out at www.candacefasano.com.
Life is so good.

Here's the new pic as promised. Sorry it's not a better one. Maybe with the sunlight in the studio, you can get a good idea of the new hair color. It's pretty hard to take a photo of yourself. I'll try to get a better one later, so I don't look so ticked off with the world. I'm really not...I promise.
Now I'm off to the studio to make some art!

I missed a day blogging. Sorry about that. I had a great reason. Yesterday was officially "Wyanne Day". I took the whole day to myself. I think everyone should do that! I spent most of the day at the hair salon. I decided to get rid of the blond and gray hair and go back to being a brunette. I'd been trying for the past couple of years to let the gray start coming out (I have lots)...but I finally gave up...I've got plenty of time for that later. So, I went back to a dark chocolate color, but with with burgundy. It's pretty retro glam....and I'm lovin it. You know when your husband says, "Geez...I'm gonna have to start working out at the gym"...that you're lookin pretty good. Plus some of my girlfriends told me that I look 10 years younger...and they're the kind of friends that wouldn't fib. So...I'm feeling pretty good. Thanks to Beth at Haute Heads for making me over! I'll try to post a picture soon.....

One of the biggest influences in my life last year, was actually a movie. It's called The Secret. It's life changing. You can watch it online right now. But, be forewarned...you'll want to buy the DVD afterwards! It's that good. Oprah is even doing a show about it this Thursday, Feb. 8th. So...you know it's BIG! Check it out at www.thesecret.tv.

So, yesterday, I did something new for me. I started Svaroopa yoga. It was the best! I highly recommend it. Wow, I can't explain the difference I felt afterwards. The mental high from it was amazing. This quote was taken from my instructor's website, "Svaroopa yoga was developed by Rama Berch, who founded and directs the Master Yoga Academy in LaJolla, California and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. This style of yoga is compassionate with gently supported poses that bring a deep release to the muscles of the spine, starting with the tailbone. The word "svaroopa" is translated from Sanskrit as "the bliss of your own being" therefore after a session blissed out may best describe your state of being." It was total bliss...I highly recommend it!
Well, off to the studio. More tomorrow.
